The commodity copper has been very wide spoken in the past several years because of the commodity boom. But as of the last year (’08-’09) there has been a significant commodity bubble collapse as seen in the picture below.

  • Much media has been driven towards this metal because of its use in a lot of goods.
  • Copper is very hard to mine and there are a few mines out there that mine this stuff, therefore it is easier to recycle this good and hence you have your demand.
  • Copper can be found in a variety of materials in which I will post and show below including appliances, computers, and automobiles.

  • #1 Insulated – (consists of plastic insulated unalloyed, uncoated (plated) copper wire, with the copper wire no smaller than 16 gauge).
  • #2 Insulated – (consist of assorted plastic insulated, unalloyed copper wire, free of heavy or double insulation).
